As the Austrian family-owned manufacturer is the only company worldwide producing the battery-powered version of these vehicles, a direct award procedure was permissible. The financing, provided by BayernLB with DAL acting as co-arranger and structurer, is structured as a hire-purchase model covering a four-year construction period followed by a two-year operational phase.<\/p>\n<p>The transaction complies with BayernLB\u2019s Sustainable Financing Framework and supports the modernization and maintenance of railway infrastructure in Germany.
