They focus primarily on equity capital transactions, M&amp;A, private equity and joint venture transactions in various sectors, including technology, energy, real estate and commodities.<\/p>\n<p>Singapore is home to a number of companies and investors from France, as well as from the Benelux countries, Spain, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. Its location also enables them to radiate outwards to the former Indochina zone, a fast-developing region that is very open to law firms steeped in French culture and tradition: Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, which are civil law countries.<\/p>\n<p>The objective of this new office is to advise French and foreign clients on their corporate and investment transactions in Singapore and its neighboring countries. LPA-CGR avocats&#8216; local teams will also advise their clients on their overall legal issues (tax and wealth management, IP\/IT, employment law, etc.) with the backing, in certain cases, of the Paris platform and other teams based in Asia.<\/p>\n<p>Arnaud Bourrut-Lacouture is delighted with this alliance: &#8222;<em>Teaming up with LPA-CGR avocats, which enjoys a strong international footprint, particularly in Asia, quickly became the obvious course.
