She is particularly active in cross-border mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. She has gained extensive experience in several regulated sectors, including energy (oil &amp; gas, renewables) and telecommunications.<\/p>\n<p>Rym Loucif joins LPA-CGR avocats as partner to lead the Algiers office\u2019s Corporate-M&amp;A practice, in collaboration with all the firm\u2019s practice groups, both in Paris and in other LPA-CGR avocats offices around the world. Rym Loucif\u2019s arrival strengthens the firm\u2019s M&amp;A and Corporate practice, which now counts 17 partners worldwide.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lpalaw.com\/en\/team\/rym-loucif\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rym Loucif <\/a>is a graduate of King\u2019s College London and holds a Master\u2019s degree in business law and an in-house counsel diploma (<em>Dipl\u00f4me de Juriste Conseil d&#8217;Entreprise<\/em>) from Paris II &#8211; Panth\u00e9on-Assas University. She worked for over six years in Paris for leading US law firms (Willkie Farr and Gibson Dunn), and then in Gide\u2019s Algiers office for nearly seven years.<\/p>\n<p>She recently advised International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC), Philip Morris International, Aabar Investment PJS, Veon (formerly VimpelCom), RATP and Renault in their investments in Algeria.<\/p>\n<p>LPA-CGR avocats\u2019 Algiers office is also strengthening its ties with the law firm of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lpalaw.com\/en\/team\/5896-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fatima-Zohra Bouchemla<\/a>, a prominent member of the Algiers Bar who is active in Algerian business and institutional circles. Fatima-Zohra Bouchemla was Deputy Minister responsible for Algerians residing abroad. She has recognized expertise in litigation and arbitration.<\/p>\n<p>Present in Algeria for over 10 years, LPA-CGR avocats offers a full range of services to its clients.
