The firm has advanced expertise in auditing in view of litigation on the adequacy of impact assessment studies for projects in Natura 2000 areas. In close cooperation with specialised consulting firms, including marine environmental consulting firms, we assist you with analysing and implementing solutions, your relations with the national authorities, document preparation and representation in the context of court litigation.
Our specialised team assists operators with setting up their concession applications or building and operation permits as part of competitive tendering processes, in view of obtaining obligatory purchase contracts or additional remuneration. Our thorough knowledge of the rules for obtaining administrative documents and power generation purchase contracts allows us to define the best strategy to maximise and secure the energy potential of a site or an asset. We develop and track construction permit applications, ICPE (facilities classified for Environmental Protection) authorisations and single authorisations. We also defend your interests before the administrative court.
The team assists the project owners in design and project management. We work with investors and developers to set up financing, draft and negotiate power plant contracts and construction work contracts, and prepare all types of support agreements for operations and public construction contracts.
We have developed a unique ability to follow up on disputes related to the construction of plants for sea- and land-based energy production, and represent our clients before the commercial, civil and administrative courts.
In organising prime contracting and project management, we also follow up on acceptance and claim procedures, as well as the application of contractual or post-contractual liability, including ten-year guarantee, guarantee of proper functioning, completion guarantee, insurance, etc.
Working with investors and developers, the team can provide special expertise on electric grid connection. We finalise connection agreements and negotiations taking account of the connection diagrams, and regularly seize the CORDIS for disputes with grid system operators
