Rym Loucif,<\/a> partner at the Corporate and M&A practice of the Algiers office, shared her expertise on the IBA Oil and Gas Law Committee website concerning the Algerian upcoming reform of the hydrocarbons law.<\/p>\n

The bill on the hydrocarbons law clarifies many areas of uncertainty and introduces flexibility in the conduct of Upstream Activities. The bill also reintroduces the production-sharing contract existing under the former Law (1986), in aim to adopt a pragmatic approach in terms of taxation.<\/p>\n
