LPA-CGR avocats appoints 3 new Partners<\/h2>\n

LPA-CGR avocats is pleased to announce the appointment of Ran Hu (M&A\/China Desk), Stephan Lesage-Mathieu (Contracts\/German Desk) and of Fran\u00e7ois Versini-Campinchi (Energie\/Public Law) as partners, with effect from 1st January 2021. With these new appointments, the Paris Office now consists of 40 partners.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ran Hu<\/a> has a broad corporate practice with particular expertise in cross-border mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures.<\/p>\n

Member of the China Desk of the Paris office since 2010, Ran assists mainly Chinese clients with their projects in France and Africa. She works closely with the firm’s offices in China and Africa.<\/p>\n

Ran is a member of the Paris Bar and holds the certificate of aptitude for the legal profession of the People’s Republic of China. She is a graduate of Shanghai University (Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Law) and of the University of Paris II Panth\u00e9on-Assas (Master 2 in Business Law, Master 2 in Private Law specialising in Industrial Property and Master 2 in Real Estate and Construction Law).<\/p>\n

The firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions team in Paris is currently composed of around thirty lawyers, including 9 partners.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Stephan Lesage-Mathieu <\/a>works in the Law and Business Litigation Department and is a member of the German Desk of the Paris office.<\/p>\n

Admitted to the Paris Bar, Stephan advises clients on contractual matters in their production and distribution activities in France: industrial contracts, cooperation agreements, public and private tenders, particularly in the innovative field of off-site construction.<\/p>\n

He also assists French and German companies in their pre-litigation or commercial litigation and in cases of unfair or restrictive competition practices.<\/p>\n

A member of the Max Planck Institute for Private International Law in Hamburg, Stephan studied law in Paris XI \/ Sceaux, Marburg, T\u00fcbingen (LL.M.) and Heidelberg (Dr. iur.). He also holds a diploma from the ISIT (Institut Sup\u00e9rieur d’Interpr\u00e9tation et de Traduction<\/em>) in Paris.<\/p>\n

The German Desk of the Paris office has a staff of about ten lawyers, including three partners, who work with the firm’s three offices in Germany (Hamburg, Frankfurt and Munich).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Fran\u00e7ois Versini-Campinchi <\/a>advises on public business law in the Energy sector.<\/p>\n

He has developed cross-disciplinary expertise in energy, urban planning and environmental law, particularly in the renewable energy sector (wind, photovoltaic, hydroelectricity, biomass, etc.). He also assists his clients in public procurement law and public domain law. He acts in litigation in these matters before the administrative courts.<\/p>\n

Admitted to the Paris Bar, Fran\u00e7ois assists his clients, French and international companies, investment funds, banks, in the development, financing and acquisition phases of projects.<\/p>\n

He has also developed specific expertise in the development of energy projects in Africa. As such, he works closely with the firm’s offices in Morocco, Algeria and Cameroon.<\/p>\n

Fran\u00e7ois is a graduate of IEP Paris (Master’s degree in Public Affairs) and of the University of Paris II Panth\u00e9on-Assas (Master’s degree in Public Economic Law).<\/p>\n

The firm’s Energy team in Paris is currently composed of around thirty lawyers, including 10 partners.<\/p>\n
