Africa Credit Rating Conference<\/h2>\n

Javed Allybokus<\/a>, Counsel in LPA Law\u2019s Banking & Finance<\/a> team, will be attending the Africa Credit Rating Conference, taking place on 5 and 6 October 2026 in Mauritius, under the theme \u201cTowards Developing African Capital Markets: Rechannelling Africa\u2019s Capital.\u201d The conference will convene leading stakeholders from the African and international financial sectors to discuss credit ratings, access to financing and the development of African capital markets.<\/p>\n

On 7 October, Javed will also have the honour of attending the exclusive launch cocktail of the Africa Credit Rating Agency (AfCRA), a continental initiative spearheaded by the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM). This gathering will bring together key stakeholders from across the African financial ecosystem to mark the launch of this important initiative in Mauritius.<\/p>\n

Two significant occasions to connect, exchange views and discuss the future of African finance.<\/p>\n

With extensive experience in cross-border financing, particularly across African markets, Javed advises financial institutions and borrowers on the structuring and financing of complex transactions.<\/p>\n
