Baptiste Cousseau is Counsel in environmental law

A member of the Paris Bar since 2017, Baptiste Cousseau advises on all matters related to environmental law, including environmental assessments, the regulation of classified facilities for environmental protection (ICPE) and water law installations (IOTA), waste management, and more.

He has a specific expertise in mining law and extractive industries, as well as biodiversity-related issues. He has also developed in-depth experience in securing permits for major projects, particularly infrastructure projects, both in advisory and litigation contexts. He works closely with other practice groups at the firm, particularly in the energy sector.

Baptiste holds a Master 2 in Construction and Urban Planning Law from Paris-Est Créteil University. He also holds a diploma in Public Business Law (IDPA) from Paris-Saclay University and was awarded a prize by GRIDAUH in 2016 for his thesis.
