Gunther Gram is a partner at LPA Law’s Vienna office specialising in the entertainment industry
Since 1997, Gunther Gram has been dealing on a daily basis with the legal areas necessary for the preparation and implementation of (large) events. He has extensive knowledge of the industry and its legal issues. Gunther advises national and international companies that hold events in Austria.
His advisory services include, in particular, issues relating to the posting or secondment of employees required for the execution of events and the contractual basis for such cross-border cooperation (including with regard to the United Kingdom after Brexit). His area of expertise also includes advising on matters of employee protection, which is becoming increasingly important, especially in the context of events.
Gunther provides his consulting services from the preparation (including coordination with the authorities involved) of events to the defence against warranty or damage claims asserted after events.
He holds a teaching licence (Master’s level) for university courses at the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland GmbH (current module, 4 ECTS credits, ‘Law for the Event and Communications Industry’).
Gunther Gram publishes regularly; he is the author of the online publication ‘Practical Guide for Covid 19 Officers’ (WEKA-Verlag; two editions) and writes specialist articles for the publishers Manz and Lexisnexis.
