IBA | Kosuke Oie joins the 19th Annual Bar Leaders’ Conference in Prague

Kosuke Oie, partner at LPA Tokyo and Scholarship Officer of the Human Rights Law Committee at the International Bar Association, will participate in the 19th Annual Bar Leaders’ Conference organised by the International Bar Association, taking place on 20–21 May 2026 in Prague, Czech Republic.

Kosuke will moderate the roundtable session “Update – Measuring the impact of the IBA’s bar guidance on business and human rights”, alongside Berit Reiss-Andersen, Vice Chair of the Bar Issues Commission.

They will join fellow distinguished leaders to discuss the implementation and effectiveness of the IBA’s guidance in advancing business and human rights standards across jurisdictions.

Bringing together bar leaders from around the world, this conference offers a unique forum for dialogue on the key challenges currently shaping the legal profession, including the rule of law, climate-related developments, accountability for crimes against humanity, and the evolving role of artificial intelligence.
