APFL Partners celebrates 16 years of academic partnership between University of Economics and Law in Vietnam and Paris-Panthéon-Assas University
On 6 October 2026, Ms Pham Viet Anh, Of Counsel at APFL Partners, attended the ceremony marking the 16th anniversary (2010–2026) of the academic partnership between the University of Economics and Law, Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City (UEL), and Paris-Panthéon-Assas University.
The anniversary was held together with the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 intake and the Graduation Ceremony of the joint international Master of Laws programme. It brought together around 170 guests including representatives of the Consulate General of France in Ho Chi Minh City, Professor Stéphane Braconnier, President of Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Cong Gia Khanh, Rector of UEL, and Academician, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Dien, Senior Expert at UEL’s Institute of International and Comparative Law.
APFL Partners is proud to have supported the joint Master of Laws programme from its very first days. Ms Pham Viet Anh has taught on the business law Master’s courses, which are delivered entirely in French, without interruption from the first intake through to the current 17th intake. The firm also offers students of the programme the opportunity to complete internships and begin their professional careers at APFL Partners and the LPA Law network.
On the occasion of this 16th anniversary, APFL Partners extends its warmest congratulations to Paris-Panthéon-Assas University and the University of Economics and Law, to the faculty members whose dedication has sustained the programme, to the newly graduated Master of Law, and to the students who are now beginning their studies in the 2026 intake. We wish them every success and look forward to continuing to contribute to a partnership that has trained so many Franco-Vietnamese legal professionals.
