LPA Singapore advised SOGECLAIR on the sale of its engineering activities dedicated to Airbus to Akkodis

LPA Singapore advised SOGECLAIR, an international engineering and technology company specialising in aerospace, defense and mobility, on the sale of its engineering activities dedicated to Airbus to Akkodis, a global digital engineering consulting company and part of the Adecco Group.

This strategic transaction marks an important step for SOGECLAIR in the implementation of its AMBITION 2030 plan, enabling the group to focus its investments on high-value-added engineering and industrial activities while accelerating its development in growth markets such as defense and business aviation.

For Akkodis, the acquisition strengthens its position in the aerospace and defense sector by expanding its capabilities in aerostructures, cabin engineering and manufacturing engineering, while enhancing its ability to support customers across the entire product lifecycle, from design and engineering through industrialization and in-service support.

The transaction spans operations across eight countries and involves approximately 400 engineers and technicians, reflecting the international scope and scale of the activities transferred to Akkodis.

Our LPA Singapore team, led by Lisbeth Lanvers-Shah, Of Counsel, advised SOGECLAIR on the corporate aspects of the transaction, alongside Chaintrier Avocats by COGEP, which advised SOGECLAIR on corporate matters.

We are proud to have supported SOGECLAIR on this significant cross-border transaction and congratulate all parties involved on its successful completion.
