    Dorothea Schimmel is qualified as Rechtsanwältin and works as a local partner in the Munich office.

    She primarily advises clients in respect of Real Estate matters with a focus on transaction advice as well as in respect of all matters relating to Real Estate specific public commercial law (in particular planning and construction law as well as environmental law). She also has extensive experience in Real Estate Financing matters.

    At the beginning of her career, Dorothea worked as a Real Estate lawyer in the Munich office of Clifford Chance for more than seven years.

    Dorothea was admitted to the bar in 2011. She studied law at the Saarland University in Saarbrücken and completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Munich and in Toronto, Canada.

    Dorothea is fluent in German and English.
