Dr. Eduard Bekker is a lawyer and Senior Associate at our Frankfurt office
He represents national and international companies in complex commercial disputes before state courts, in arbitration proceedings and in out-of-court dispute resolution.
His practice focuses on corporate and contractual disputes as well as matters relating to capital markets, insolvency and IT law. In addition, he advises companies on strategic issues and contentious special situations, in particular with a view to dispute prevention.
Before being admitted to the Bar in July 2021, he completed his legal traineeship with placements including at a renowned US business law firm in the area of restructuring and insolvency law. Alongside his legal traineeship, he worked in the legal department of a DAX-listed group in the medical technology and healthcare sector, focusing on corporate and capital markets law.
Dr. Eduard Bekker studied law at Goethe University Frankfurt and completed his doctorate at Justus Liebig University Giessen on sustainability reporting by hedge funds. He has been with LPA since April 2021.
In addition to German and English, he speaks fluent Russian.
