Jiabao Gerling-Li is a lawyer admitted in China and an Associate (Foreign Practice Attorney) at our Frankfurt office
As a member of the Chinese Desk Germany, she advises domestic and international clients on corporate transactions and financings as well as on general matters of German and Chinese commercial and corporate law.
She is part of the M&A and Corporate Finance team in Frankfurt. As a link between our offices in China and Germany, she supports clients in particular in connection with transactions in Germany, in China or involving both jurisdictions. Clients benefit from her cultural experience and her familiarity with the Chinese market. Prior to joining LPA, she worked as a lawyer at international law firms in China.
Jiabao Gerling-Li studied law at the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, China. In addition to her Chinese Master of Laws, she obtained a Master of Laws in the United States and a Master of Laws in International Finance in Frankfurt am Main.
She speaks fluent Chinese (Mandarin), English and German.
