Lobna Boudiaf is a senior associate in the intellectual property, new technologies and personal data department
She assists French and international clients in the areas of intellectual property, data protection, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, and information and communication technologies. Her practice includes advising clients on strategic matters and representing them in litigation before civil, commercial and administrative courts. Recognised for her command of complex regulatory issues, she has significant experience supporting companies in their dealings with regulatory authorities, in particular the CNIL (French Data Protection Authority) and the DGCCRF (French Directorate-General for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control), whether in the context of regulatory audits, sector-specific investigations or compliance programmes.
Lobna holds a Master 2 in Digital Law (Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas), a Master in Private Law with a specialisation in Business Law (Université de Cergy-Pontoise / ESSEC Business School), and an LL.M. in US Law (Loyola University, New Orleans, United States).
She is accredited by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) as a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E).
Prior to joining LPA Law, Lobna practised as an associate at a leading international law firm and a prominent French law firm, focusing on personal data, IT contracts and intellectual property. She also completed a two-year part-time secondment with the legal department of one of the world’s largest insurance and asset management groups, where she strengthened her expertise in drafting and negotiating IT contracts.
