Benoîte Chanfray is an associate and focuses on intellectual property, digital law, artificial intelligence and data protection
She advises French and international companies on securing their digital projects, as well as on the governance and enhancement of their intangible assets and compliance with applicable regulations. Her practice also encompasses pre-litigation and litigation matters, particularly in the areas of intellectual property and unfair competition, before French courts and French and European intellectual property offices.
Benoîte holds a Master’s degree (Master 1) in Business Law from Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University and the University of East Anglia (Norwich, United Kingdom), as well as a Master’s degree (Master 2 Research) in European and International Intellectual Property Law from the CEIPI (Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies) at the University of Strasbourg. She is also CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe) certified by the IAPP.
Benoîte is a member of the AFCDP (French Association of Data Protection Officers).
Before joining LPA Law in 2024, she gained experience in both French and international law firms, as well as in-house within companies operating in the film and audiovisual industries. This background enables her to address legal issues relating to creation, innovation and digital transformation through both a strategic and practical lens.
