Minh Nguyen is a Partner and Head of the Dispute Resolution practice at the Ho Chi Minh City office

Minh has over 15 years of experience advising and representing multinational corporations and domestic clients in complex commercial disputes, international arbitration and employment matters.

She has extensive experience acting in high-value disputes before leading arbitral institutions, including the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC). She also regularly advises clients on high-profile executive employment disputes and strategic risk management. Her practice covers a broad range of sectors, including manufacturing, consumer goods and regulated industries.

Minh is a member of the Young SIAC Committee (YSIAC Committee), the Science Council of the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), and serves as the Vietnam Representative at the Asia-Pacific Forum for International Arbitration (AFIA). Since 2019, she has also been an Adjunct Lecturer in the Master of Civil Law Programme jointly organised by the University of Economics and Law of Vietnam and the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

Before joining APFL Partners, Minh was Special Counsel and Head of the Dispute Resolution Practice at a leading law firm in arbitration and dispute resolution in Vietnam. Prior to that, she spent more than ten years with top-tier international law firms and multinational corporations, including Gide Loyrette Nouel and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

Minh holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Arbitration from Pepperdine University, which she obtained as a Fulbright Scholar. She also attended the Intensive International Commercial Arbitration course at Harvard Law School in 2023.
