LPA-CGR avocats advised Banque des Territoires in its teaming up with ZE Energy for the development of hybrid solar plants, combining photovoltaic and storage

LPA-CGR avocats advised Banque des Territoires in its teaming up with ZE Energy through the purchase of 49 % of the securities issued by the holding company HybridSol owned by ZE Energy. Equipped with batteries allowing the storage of the solar energy produced during the day, these new generation solar plants combine all the advantages relating to production costs, integration in the environment and the electricity grid, and production of a 0 CO2 issuance energy. An innovative model that already seduces local public authorities and companies.

The first two hybrid projects « solar + storage » developed by ZE Energy, through its holding company HybridSol, in the Loir-et-Cher, in the Municipalities of Mennetou-sur-Cher and Gièvres, represent an aggregate installed capacity of 26.5 MWc for the photovoltaic equipment and 11.3 MW for the batteries. They will allow the production of electricity for the annual needs of approximately 12,000 people.

By investing in HybridSol, Banque des Territoires is willing to accompany the growth of ZE Energy to allow it to strengthen its contribution to the integration of the renewable energies in the French energy mix, while guaranteeing the stability of the electricity grid.

This new investment of Banque des Territoires is part of the operational implementation of the climate plan of Banque des Territoires, to the benefit of more durable territories.
