LPA-CGR avocats continues its development in real estate financing with the arrival of Thomas Ehrecke as partner

A few weeks after the arrival of Hassan Javanshir, the firm continues its development in real estate financing and welcomes Thomas Ehrecke as a partner.

He joins the firm’s Real Estate department in Paris, which has some sixty lawyers, including fifteen partners, and strengthens the Real Estate Financing team, which includes two partners, Alexae Fournier-de Faÿ and Hassan Javanshir.

Thomas advises on real estate financing transactions in France and across borders. He advises his clients, banks, investors and funds, on origination, restructuring, as well as the sale and acquisition of real estate debt.

In addition, he also brings to the firm his expertise in acquisition finance and corporate finance (Large Cap LBO and Unitranche).

Biographical Details

Thomas is a member of the Paris Bar (2012) and Rechtsanwalt at the Frankfurt Bar (2008).

He holds a Doctorate in Law (University of Saarland, Germany – 2007), the First and Second State Examination in Law (University of Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany – 2004 and 2008), an LL.M. in International Business Law (University of Exeter, UK – 2002) and a DEUG (Centre Juridique Franco-Allemand) (University of Saarland/Nancy, Germany – 2000).

He has 13 years of professional experience as a lawyer, including 10 years at Ashurst where he became Counsel in 2019.

Thomas is fluent in French, German and English.
