LPA-CGR avocats advised Symrise in its discussions with EQT portfolio company OterraTM towards receipt of a binding offer in respect of the sale of  its natural food coloring activities to OterraTM

The German Group Symrise announced that they have received a binding offer from EQT portfolio company Ch. Hansen Natural Colors A/S, now known as OterraTM, to acquire Diana Food’s natural coloring activities. Symrise and OterraTM have therefore entered into exclusive negotiations. The works council consultations on the contemplated transaction are ongoing and the transaction would be subject to antitrust approvals.

Symrise welcomes this offer as the Group wishes to strengthen the focus of the Flavor & Nutrition segment on its core expertise in taste, nutrition and health in food, pet food and aqua feed application areas.

OterraTM is a leading supplier of natural colors. Headquartered in Denmark, OterraTM is an EQT portfolio company and committed to helping their customers accelerate the transition from artificial coloring ingredients to more sustainable and natural ingredients.
