Past event | A rewarding week in Tokyo for our LPA Law delegation on the occasion of the IBA M&A Tokyo Conference 2026

Our LPA Law delegation from Europe and Asia gathered in Tokyo for a week of meetings, discussions, and networking around the IBA (International Bar Association) Asia Pacific M&A Conference (9–10 April), the world’s leading gathering of legal professionals, bringing together more than 250 participants from across the globe.

Throughout the week, we had the pleasure to:

• Proudly sponsor and attend the IBA M&A Conference, which featured high-level panels and engaging discussions with peers and fellow delegates
  Hold a series of meetings with corporates and business partners, opening new avenues for collaboration
• Share a memorable team dinner, strengthening ties across our offices in Paris, Hong Kong, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, Shanghai and Tokyo
• Connect with colleagues across jurisdictions, reinforcing our global network
• Host a cocktail bringing together clients and contacts, enhanced by the exhibition of Caura Barszcz’s “Womenity” series, a curated collection of portraits of Asian women placing women at the heart of the evening and celebrating their roles, trajectories, and influence across our regions and industries. A unique moment where hospitality, art, and networking came together

This week in Tokyo was a great illustration of what makes our international platform so valuable: meaningful connections, cross-border collaboration, and strong local engagement.

The highlight of the week: experiencing the breathtaking “Sakura” in full bloom.
