Mélanie Clerc–Dugas du Villard is a lawyer, member of the Paris Bar, and specialist in international commercial law
A senior associate at our Frankfurt office, Mélanie advises national and international clients on commercial law, particularly corporate, group, and transformation law, as well as M&A. Another focus of her practice is private international law. She has particular experience in German-French matters and handles cross-border mandates as part of our French Desk.
Before joining LPA, Mélanie Clerc worked in commercial law firms in Germany and France. There she handled corporate law mandates, transactions, and commercial law issues.
She completed her legal training at the Universities of CY Cergy Paris and Düsseldorf as part of the German-French degree program, as well as at the University and Law School in Clermont-Ferrand, France.
From 2020 to 2025, she was also a lecturer at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf for the German-French degree program.
She is a native French speaker and is fluent in German and English.
